Notice about Infectious Diseases
Welcome to Japan or welcome back! Watch your health condition after traveling.
If you feel sick after traveling, there is a possibility that you are infected with a disease (ig: measles, dengue fever). See a doctor immediately. Tell your doctor where you traveled to and what you did there. Even if you feel ok, try to wash your hands frequently and to protect yourself from mosquito bites for 2 weeks after your arrival from your travel.
Dengue (Break bone fever) and Zika fever are common in tropical and subtropical countries.
Expectant mothers and those with a possible pregnancy should avoid traveling to the Zika epidemic areas.
